Clubhouse Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean aquatic recreational area for guests or residents.
Duties and Essential Functions

- Welcome and greet residents to the Pool and Gym areas of the property.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. All “check-in” policies and procedures must be followed without any exceptions
- Coordinate with office administrative staff to maintain and update all unit owner information in computer database.
- Utilize proper phone etiquette for all incoming and outgoing phone calls made to residents. All calls should be clear and in a professional manner.
- Responsible for day-to-day set up of equipment and resources within the pool and gym areas. To include the following; assist residents and guests with lounge chairs, organize pool and gym equipment and other requirements as assigned by the property.
- Remove dirty towels and trash from the pool and gym areas.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Complete daily inspections of the gym, pool, aerobics room, men and women restrooms, event room, and conference room areas and report any issues or faulty equipment to management.
- Maintain cleanliness clubhouse and surrounding area.
- Report any violations of the Rules and Regulations that are noticed at any time.
- Observe precautions required to protect Residents, guests and property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
- Follow all standards policies and procedures with regards to emergency response by coordinating with Management, Chief Engineer, or Fire Rescue / Police services.
- Report any and all maintenance items which include, but is not limited to, burned out lights, leaks, broken equipment to the Association office daily.
- Assist front desk when needed.
- Ensure rules and regulations of the pool and clubhouse areas are being respected.
Work Environment
The position will be indoors and outdoors. Moderate noise level.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. This position will require long periods of standing and walking, as well as working outdoors.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Days and hours will be determined by the property. The schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the property.
Required Education and Experience
- Prior experience in a related position.
- Experience at a luxury property or hotel is strongly preferred;
- The ability to work in a busy, luxury, and fast-paced environment.
- The ability to convey a positive and “can-do” attitude at all times, including during high-stressful situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other staff
- Must be able to work well with others as the role will require cooperation from other team members
- High School Diploma or Equivalent;
- Ability to organize and prioritize;
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions;
