What are the responsibilities and job description for the Showing Agent - Real Estate position at KW United?

A top real estate team out of KW United in Falls Church, is looking for a Showing Agent to support our rapidly growing business. Our brokerage closes nearly $800 million in sales per year. We are looking to add new members to support our buyer clientele as we work towards hitting our goals in 2024. The successful candidate will work their way to becoming a Lead Buyer Specialist, receiving and converting leads provided by the team. They will also receive the mentorship and gain the skills necessary to develop their own clientele.
Duties
- Schedule buyer showings and accompany them on tours of homes
- Answer questions about homes being shown, local neighborhoods, and the home buying process, promptly returning all phone calls and emails
- Identify homes to show buyers based on their criteria
- Set buyers up on search site and create automated search in the MLS
- Assist buyers in refining their home search based upon interactions and their feedback
- Provide buyers with neighborhood pricing information/comparable market analyses
- Keep motivated buyers on the path to making purchase offers
- Generate new buyer leads through open houses, sphere cultivation, and team events
- Shadow Lead Agent on showings to learn team policies and procedures regarding job
- Report to Lead Agent on buyer motivation, feedback, and next steps
- Attend home inspections and other site visits
- Provide open house coverage on some weekends
- Occasionally provide transportation for buyers
- Other duties as may be required
Skills
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following skills:
- Must have active real estate license - Virginia required, MD/DC are a plus
- Experience using Bright MLS, creating showing sheets, scheduling/conducting showings
- Knowledge of DC-metro area real estate market, trends, forms, and best practices
Team-oriented individual able to grow within the organization while still putting the team’s brand first Expert level communication skills
- Ability to make personal connections with clients and make them feel like #1
- Excellent at remembering names, faces, personal details, and making conversation
- Organization and timeliness
- Follow-up and follow-through
- Ability to set realistic expectations and say “no” in a gentle way
- Must be able to take and work under direction from Lead Agent
- Technological competency (Google App Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Dotloop, RealScout, etc.)
- Access to reliable transportation that comfortably fits at least three passengers
- Ability to work nights and weekends on a regular basis
