We’re looking for a Hydrologist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will apply your expertise in water resources to assess and manage stormwater, conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Collaborating with civil engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers, you’ll contribute to sustainable solutions for a diverse range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, WSPG, or similar).
- Conduct stormwater management and drainage analysis to design effective flood control and conveyance systems.
- Perform watershed modeling and contribute to site design by evaluating runoff patterns, infiltration, and erosion control strategies.
- Prepare and review Flood Studies, Drainage Reports, CLOMR/LOMRs, and Water Quality Management Plans.
- Assist with the design of Low Impact Development (LID) measures and Best Management Practices (BMPs) for water quality management.
- Provide technical support for regulatory compliance under local, state, and federal guidelines (e.g., NPDES, MS4 permits).
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and environmental consultants to integrate stormwater solutions into land development projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to present findings and obtain necessary approvals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hydrology, water resources engineering, or stormwater management within a land development context.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, WSPG, or similar).
- Strong understanding of stormwater regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary : $105,000 - $120,000
