Cashier/Attendant Position Overview
The Cashier/Attendant is responsible for operating the store in absence of Store Management, attending to customers' needs, and adhering to company operating policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting all customers with a smile and offering assistance as needed.
- Suggest merchandise purchases to customers to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Operate the cash register and additional required equipment accurately and efficiently.
- Price, stock, and face merchandise effectively to maintain store appearance and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage product storage, maintenance, and rotation activities to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Maintain the store according to maintenance policies and Health Department regulations.
- Follow security and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Account for all shift and daily transactions accurately.
- Present a neat and clean appearance at all times, adhering to the company dress code.
