Cashier/Attendant Job Description
The Cashier/Attendant plays a critical role in operating the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer top-notch customer service by greeting customers with a smile and providing personalized assistance.
- Operate the cash register and other equipment accurately and efficiently.
- Price, stock, and face merchandise, including gondolas, shelving, counters, walk-in coolers, upright coolers, and backroom storage areas.
- Maintain product storage, maintenance, and rotation activities to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Clean and maintain the store, adhering to maintenance policies and Health Department regulations.
- Follow all security and safety policies and procedures.
- Account for all shift and daily transactions.
