Cashier/Attendant Role
At Kwik Fill, we are seeking a skilled Cashier/Attendant to join our team in the absence of Store Management. This role is responsible for operating the store and attending to customers' needs while adhering to company operating policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer exceptional customer service by greeting all customers with a smile and hello.
- Suggest merchandise purchases to all customers.
- Learn and operate the cash register and additional required equipment with accuracy.
- Price, stock, and face merchandise across various areas of the store.
- Manage product storage, maintenance, and rotation activities to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Maintain the store according to maintenance policies and Health Department rules and regulations.
- Follow all security and safety policies and procedures.
- Account for all shift and daily transactions.
- Present a neat and clean appearance and wear any required work dress code clothing.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to multitask, organize, and communicate effectively
- Strong customer service skills and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, twist, stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods
- Familiarity with POS/cash register experience, adding machine, general office equipment, and desktop computers/laptop computers and tablets
