Kwik Fill is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier/Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the cash register, handling customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and mobile payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping floors, emptying trash cans, and restocking shelves.
- Process merchandise purchases, price items, and face shelves to ensure a visually appealing store appearance.
- Manage product storage, maintenance, and rotation activities to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Perform tasks related to store maintenance, such as replacing gas nozzles, changing pump filters, and cleaning equipment.
- Ensure compliance with security and safety policies, including following procedures for handling cash, operating equipment, and responding to emergencies.
- Accurately account for all shift and daily transactions, reconciling discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, twist, and stand for prolonged periods.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
