Fuel Jockey

Job Summary: We are seeking a Fuel Jockey to provide exceptional customer service at our diesel fueling stations. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, have strong organizational and communication skills, and a high level of customer service acumen. About the Role:

As a Fuel Jockey, you will be responsible for offering customers assistance with diesel fueling, suggesting merchandise purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will also be expected to work effectively as part of a team, communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting with diesel fueling, and making product recommendations.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store image.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the store.

Requirements:

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• High level of customer service acumen.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bending, twisting, standing, walking, or sitting for prolonged periods.

Work Environment:

• Typical retail convenience store setting with exposure to varying weather conditions.
