Store Manager Role Description
The store manager shares the store’s operations with the assistant manager. In addition, the district manager and the retail training department will support training efforts, which include, but are not limited to, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, completing the necessary paperwork, monitoring training for all associates, and ensuring that state and federal training is completed and followed. Qualifications
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable, independent transportation that does not depend on a third party.
• A functional phone number for Store Management and Staff to reach you.
• Capability to multi-task.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Incumbents must be able to lift to fifty pounds.
• Ability to bend and twist.
• Capability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
• Experience with POS/cash registers is beneficial.
• Familiarity with adding machines.
• Knowledge of general office equipment.
• Proficiency with desktop computers, laptops, and tablets.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous convenience store experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
