Quality Control Associate

Position: Quality Control Associate Salary Range: $40k – 45k/yr.

Status: Full-time – Non-Exempt

Job Description: The Quality Control Associate will provide quality control support to ensure that products meet quality requirements.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

· Perform quality control inspections on incoming and in process goods and components

· Complete concise quality control inspection reports

· Support engineering team in the creation of corrective and preventative action plans

· Ensure that assigned products meet quality requirements for the customer and the company

·Support the product development and/or Operations team by providing analysis of product samples and prototypes

· Catalog and maintain inventory of product samples used for quality control and product development

· Review corrective actions that have been implemented in the production process

· Acquire skills and experience necessary to perform quality engineer tasks without supervision

·Perform other duties as requested

Physical demands:

· Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds; lifting may be in excess of 100 repetitions per shift

· Must be able to maintain a high level of repetition in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling and crouching

Requirements

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Able to use basic inspection tools including tape measure, calipers, pull scale, and micrometer

· Ability to learn production sequences and the Company’s quality standards

· 3 or more years of of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

· Proficient with computers, specifically the Microsoft Office Suite

· Able to work independently and within a team environment

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Good organizational and follow-up skills

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
