Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and experienced Tree Climbers and Ground crew to join our team. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for performing tree care and maintenance tasks, including trimming, pruning, and removals. This is a physically demanding role that requires climbing trees and working at heights. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with hand tools, chainsaws, and pole saws, work well independently and in a team environment, and have an ability to work safely around trees.
Responsibilities
Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and other equipment
Remove dead or hazardous branches using appropriate cutting techniques
Operate bucket trucks or aerial lifts for high-reaching tasks
Use rigging techniques to lower limbs and branches safely to the ground
Ensure worksite safety by following industry standards and best practice Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Assist with landscape maintenance tasks as needed
Experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Tree Climber or similar role
- Knowledge of tree care techniques, including pruning and trimming
- Proficiency in using climbing gear, ropes, harnesses, and rigging equipment
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
