Pay Range: $19.15 to $26.80
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Full Time Benefits Coordinator 2, La Crosse - WI: Kwik Trip, Inc. has an opportunity for a Full Time Benefits Coordinator in La Crosse, WI. This person will be responsible for completing administrative processing for benefit plans, supporting co-workers with benefit questions, project coordination and company communication and education on benefit plans. In addition, this person will:
- Advanced Benefits Administration:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on specific benefit plans
- Oversee the enrollment process, including employee communication and system setup.
- Lead the implementation of new benefits programs or changes.
- Coach/Train Coordinator 1 on existing/new benefit plans
- Employee Education:
- Conduct benefits orientation for new hires, current coworkers, and leaders.
- Create and distribute materials to educate employees about available benefits.
- Travel to various locations to communicate and support the Wellbeing Program
- Problem Resolution:
- Handle escalated issues and disputes related to benefits claims.
- Liaise with insurance carriers and brokers to resolve complex issues.
- Communication Development:
- Assist in reviewing and updating benefits policies to reflect organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure timely filing of required forms (e.g., ACA reporting, COBRA compliance).
- Generate detailed benefits utilization and cost reports for leadership.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to employee benefits, and recommend improvements or changes to existing programs as needed.
Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, benefits administration and project management experience, experience creating queries and reports, and strong Excel skills are required.
Working knowledge of benefit laws (COBRA, PPACA, HIPPA and ERISA);
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday Daytime Hours, extensive travel during the summer months, occasional travel throughout the rest of the year, on weekends and overnights as needed.
