Pay Range: $27.91 to $29.82
Shift: Overnights
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
The Spotter / Yard Driver will have various responsibilities including: washing the inside and outside of semi-trailers, shuttling unloaded and loaded trailers between the production departments, loading / unloading LP tanks from carriage, and any other duties that arise. With this position there are activities that require strong teamwork skills, the ability to clearly communicate over a 2 way radio, work in a fast paced environment, and actively work well with others.
Qualifications:
- Class A CDL with combination vehicle, air brakes, and tanker endorsements
- Hazmat endorsement is required within first 90 days of employment
- Prior Class A commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record
- High level of customer service
- Accurate / detail orientated
- Willing to learn / perform a variety of job tasks
- Work well with others
- Work with minimal supervision
- Understand / accurately complete invoice paperwork
- Work in a safety conscious environment
- Work in a variety of temperature and weather conditions
Physical qualifications: sit up to 6 hours at a time; stand up to 2 hours at a time; bend/reach/twist/stoop/squat frequently; lift up to 75 pounds to waist level occasionally; lift up to 70 pounds to 60 inches occasionally; lift up to 40 pounds to 72 inches frequently; carry 90 pounds occasionally; push/pull up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8pm to 4am, holidays included.
