Pay Range: $83,954.26 to $125,931.26
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip’s Network Services Department has an opening for a Cloud Engineer II.
What You’ll Do:
As a Cloud Engineer II at Kwik Trip, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and support of public cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and independently to ensure the operation of cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, implementation, security, and administration of Kwik Trip’s public cloud environments in Azure and GCP.
Lead the management, configuration, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure and resources.
Partner with the .NET Development teams to architect secure, scalable cloud solutions and deploy infrastructure to support application builds.
Deploy and maintain cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
Analyze existing software workloads and define technical migration roadmaps for ongoing projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 4 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Network Systems Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and operating cloud-based services, APIs, microservices, replication, and distributed databases.
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Security, including firewalls (Front Doors and App Gateways), log analytics, key vaults, and network security groups.
Expertise in Azure services, such as Web Apps, Application Insights, Virtual Machines, Service Bus, and more.
Experience with Azure Storage and Databricks solutions
Strong knowledge of Azure Networking services like VNETs, VPNs, VWAN, and ExpressRoute.
Experience with Azure EntraID and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and using Atlassian tools (Confluence and Jira).
Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud adoption frameworks (e.g., Landing Zones).
Fundamental networking knowledge and skills.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Microsoft Certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400 and AZ-500) are highly preferred.
Experience with Terraform and Terraform Cloud.
Familiarity with Containers or Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., RedHat, SUSE, Ubuntu).
On-prem virtualization experience with Nutanix or VMWare.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours with non-business hours support as required along with a rotating on-call schedule.
