Pay Range: $83,954.26 to $125,931.26
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip’s IT Department is looking for a self-motivated Project Manager.
Job Description:
This individual will oversee a diverse group of software and hardware projects. Responsible for the overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, control, and completion of these IT related projects.
Regular tasks include:
- Manage all sizes and complexities of IT projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate the definition of project charter, scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Create project plans and project schedules.
- Coordinate with third party integration and/or software partners
- Monitor the project for both time and cost budgets.
- Provide reporting on projects to all levels within the organization.
- Work with IT Management team for Demand Management planning
- Understand all functions within an IT organization and understand how demand is affected.
- Provide regular status reporting of IT active projects to Business Unit Sponsors, BU Project Managers, and all Stakeholders on pre-project determined intervals.
- Assess new project demands to understand areas of the IT organization affected.
- Work in an agile scrum environment with business analysts and scrum masters to plan project work
- Work with IT Management and other IT PMs on continuous improvement and standardization efforts to better the team’s Project Management best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or IT Related area with a minimum 3 years’ experience with project management in an IT/Business environment
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of PMI (Project Management Institute) standards and Resource Demand Management
- Knowledge of creating scope, plans, and goals from project requirements
- Knowledge of quality management, ITIL practices, and ITSM tools
- Technical aptitude
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Leadership: and ability to analyze and organize information and resources
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under pressure in fast paced environment.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels within the organization.
- Formal training in Project Management; knowledge of ServiceNow and/or Jira is a plus.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours with occasional evenings and weekends as needed for the business.
