Pay Range: $65,231.14 to $97,846.58
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip Inc. This individual will work closely with the Vice President of Store Engineering and Senior Manager of Store Engineering Business Systems to manage and lead key initiatives, including supporting critical cross-functional projects related to the strategic objectives of Kwik Trip. Concurrently manage projects for Store Engineering division by owning the scoping process, resource allocation, communication, direction, and post implementation review for projects. Completes routine analysis of department functions to identify areas of opportunity and engage stakeholders to initiate new projects.
Responsibilities:
- Clearly define project scope and objectives, as well as the expected deliverables and outcomes. Determine if there is any overlap, conflicts, or synergies with other projects or future initiatives.
- Decision maker for business unit, making effective decisions when presented with multiple options on how to progress.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project's progress and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Manages project teams by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring that team members have the necessary resources to complete their work.
- Track project progress against timelines and milestones, and report progress regularly to stakeholders. Manage project changes by evaluating the impact of the changes and implementing adjustments as needed.
- Responsible for closing out projects, which includes conducting a final review, documenting lessons learned, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct thorough analysis of the how the team does their job with the tools and training they have to identify opportunities and challenges that may impact the team’s ability to contribute to reaching company goals and contributing to key initiatives.
- Develop effective improvement strategies and implement changes.
- Establish systems for monitoring the impact of process improvements on the team's performance and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement strategies.
- Engage other business stakeholders to determine how the teams can work collaboratively to help achieve their goals.
- Participate in projects that are not directly owned by Store Engineering
- Subject matter expert on departmental operations, providing knowledge of existing systems, processes, integration, and overarching business requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to other project managers by facilitating communication and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Define and direct ways the Store Engineering team can support other projects and implement change.
Qualifications:
4 Year Bachelor’s Degree
4-6 Years IT/Finance, leadership, and project manager experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Principles of customer service and best practices
- Maximo Experience (Preferred)
