Pay Range: $22.07 to $33.11
Shift: Daytime
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip Inc. The Store Engineering Department is responsible for maintaining our 800 retail store locations. We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working and change orientated person who is wanting to start their career path by joining our team. This position is responsible for providing timely, well-designed, and up-to-date training and education that is aligned with the company’s business plan and core values to co-workers and managers in, but not limited to, the Store Engineering Department.
Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
Organizing and conducting classroom training and on-site training
Train new hires and continuing development in new programs, various technician trainings, and field training as needed
Documentation and communication on trainee progress and performance to immediate supervisor
Design and develop new training programs, job aids and other materials, continually updating existing material
Work with multiple departments to create interactive and effective training, representing industry best practices
Utilization of other training platforms available to Kwik Trip, Inc. (Learning Management Software, Adobe Captivate, etc.)
Qualifications
Minimum four-year degree in business, communication or education related field or at least one year of relevant experience
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite or other similar software
Effective and strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Knowledgeable with different learning styles and training design principles for effective delivery
Ability to manage work time efficiently and operate at a high level of energy
Strong organizational and adaptable skills required with a wide variety of trainings and personality styles
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Previous retail experience is a plus but not required

This person must live in or be willing to relocate to the La Crosse, WI area
Work Schedule: Daytime hours; typically Monday - Friday with flexibility to travel
