Job Title : Level 2 Radiology X-ray Technologist
Location : Tahlequah, OK
Schedule : Mon-Fri 7 AM - 3 : 30 PM or M-T 1 PM - 11 PM (4x10 schedule available, actual schedule TBD)
On Call : No call required
Job Summary :
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Level 2 Radiology X-ray Technologist to join our dynamic team in Tahlequah, OK. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels. With your advanced training, you will also assist in the administration of radiation therapy treatments.
Responsibilities :
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures with precision and adhere to safety protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Utilize computer information systems for patient data management; familiarity with Cerner is preferred.
Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to established guidelines.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Assist in the preparation and administration of radiation therapy treatments as necessary.
Provide support and guidance to patients, ensuring their comfort throughout the imaging process.
Qualifications :
Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
A minimum of 2 years of recent radiology experience is preferred.
Pediatric experience is a plus.
Strong computer literacy and proficiency in word processing.
