The Document Control Specialist is primarily responsible for managing and implementing engineering changes the EC process, ensuring that modifications to products, processes, and controlled documents are implemented efficiently and effectively. This role involves collaboration with various departments, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to facilitate smooth transitions and maintain compliance with industry standards.- Receive EC Requests and enter into work queue
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on priority and ownership.
- Assure EC process discipline through ECR, ECO, and ECN. Facilitate stakeholder review, impact analyses, and approvals.
- Maintain excellent records and manage EC information repository.
- Implement EC instructions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Check work product for accuracy and completeness.
- Participate on the EC Board.
- Provide training and support as necessary.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience with an Engineering Change process.
- Experience with ERP systems, Epicor preferred.
- CAD experience, SolidWorks preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in water a plus
