Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting advanced research on fiber-based materials and membranes for filtration and water purification. This includes developing and optimizing filtration media for various applications, investigating the chemical, mechanical, and thermal properties of fibers used in filtration, and designing and conducting experiments to analyze filtration efficiency, pressure drop, fouling behavior, and contaminant removal.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fiber chemistry, processing techniques, and performance testing. Process engineering knowledge and proficiency with analytical tools such as SEM, TEM, FTIR, TGA, and BET are also essential. Additionally, knowledge of sustainability practices and bio-based fiber technologies is a plus.
