Job Overview
KX Technologies is seeking a highly motivated professional to fill the role of Quality Engineer. As a key member of our expanding Quality Function in West Haven, Connecticut, this individual will be responsible for ensuring all quality requirements are achieved.
This position provides input to the Quality Manager on process or procedural system improvements. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001.
- Product and process audits to ensure compliance.
- Root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality-related problems.
- Supports and maintains QA data and management systems.
- Collaboration with other departments on projects involving resolution to quality issues and improvement initiatives.
- Conducts quality-related training with employees.
- Maintenance of quality documentation, including control plans, PFMEA, and process flows.
- Preparation of PPAP documents, including process and equipment qualifications, testing, and validation.
- Non-conforming material reports maintenance.
- Drive for continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality system.
