3rd (11 p.m. - 7 a.m.)

Job Summary:
The Mill Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment used in the processing of minerals in the processing plant. They will perform tasks such as monitoring and adjusting equipment to ensure efficient operation, maintaining equipment to ensure proper functioning, and adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.
2. Monitor equipment and process parameters and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal operation and quality control.
3. Complete pre-operational checks and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as necessary.
5. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
6. Keep accurate records of equipment operation and maintenance.
7. Collaborate with other operators and plant personnel to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Recommended Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in mill operations or related field preferred.
2. Understanding of basic computer skills.
3. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
4. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
5. Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials, and perform physical tasks as required.
6. Good maintenance skills

Outline of Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
2. Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
3. Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
