The Role We are looking for a Senior Engineer with the ambition and skills to own major components of our platform. As one of the first hires, you will work directly with the CTO to build a scalable, high-performing platform from the ground up.
We’re seeking entrepreneurial engineers who thrive in ambiguity, excel in crafting solutions to complex problems, and are eager to take products from 0 to 1. You’ll have the autonomy to make impactful decisions and the opportunity to shape both the product and the team as we scale.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of web applications using Node.js, React.js, and TypeScript.
- Make architectural decisions with the CTO, defining and building scalable, serverless systems on AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda).
- Collaborate with design and product teams to transform Figma designs into seamless, elegant user interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while championing best practices and coding standards.
- Represent engineering in cross-functional conversations, providing thought leadership and direction for product development.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to deliver a world-class user experience.
- Work with our venues on location and remote across the United States
