Job Summary
The Child Care Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the childcare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. Duties
- Lead and manage the childcare center's operations, including staffing, budgeting, and program development.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that foster children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for childcare facilities.
- Supervise and mentor staff to promote professional development and effective teaching practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for children, staff, and families.
- Collaborate with community resources to enhance program offerings and support families.
Qualifications
- A degree from a recognized university in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in education administration or management within a childcare setting is highly desirable.

- Experience working with students in higher education teaching or training environments is a plus.
