What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Kyger Funeral Home?
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Word. The right candidate will also be trained on how to use our Funeral Directors program. Knowledge of basic office equipment is equally important.
- Telephone etiquette and the ability to communicate with patience and professionalism with the public on a daily basis.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced office environment
- One weekend a month will be required.
Administrative Duties:
- Assisting funeral directors with administrative tasks
- Scheduling
- Stocking supplies
- Sorting and sending email
- Answering and routing phone calls
- Managing website obituaries
- Greeting visitors
