How you'll contribute :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Patient Recruitment and Retention to lead our initiatives in patient outreach, recruitment, and retention strategies for clinical studies. This role is vital in ensuring the successful enrollment and engagement of patients in our trials, contributing to the advancement of innovative therapies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in developing targeted recruitment campaigns with focus in immunology and inflammation. Candidates must have the ability to think strategically and creatively while assuring seamless execution of study level recruitment and retention plans.
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive patient recruitment and retention plans that align with study enrollment objectives and timelines.Work closely with Clinical Development and Clinical Operations Leads to develop and implement study Patient Recruitment and Retention Strategies. This includes establishment of central outreach campaigns, messaging and content development and engagement strategies.May coordinate and leverage RWD and external epidemiology / census data to understand disease burden across demographics in order to inform strategic plans for recruiting an inclusive representation of trial participantsDrive strategies at the study level aimed to engage and recruit potential participants with appropriate demographics for trialsOversee the creation of engaging and informative study recruitment material (brochures, digital content, etc.) that effectively communicates and educates potential participants and sites.Collaborate with study sites to develop tailored recruitment strategies that address local demographics and enhance participant engagement.May present patient recruitment and retention strategies at investigator meetings, providing insights and facilitating discussions on best practices for trial sites.Lead initiatives to establish and manage patient referral management plans, ensuring a seamless process for referring patients to trial sites and enabling conversion from referral to enrolled.Manage and oversee relationships with external recruitment and retention vendors, ensuring successful implementation of recruitment and retention strategies.Manage the implementation of site and patient portals to streamline communication, enhance patient engagement, and simplify the recruitment process.Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for recruitment and retention initiatives, using data analysis to refine strategies and improve outcomes.Work closely with clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive strategies and smooth execution of recruitment initiatives.Share learnings and best practices across teams to enable process improvements and enhance recruitment efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure best practices and lessons learned are shared across trials / indications / assets.Stay abreast and keep teams informed of industry trends, emerging technologies and innovative recruitment solutions.Skills and experience you'll bring :
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Minimum 6 years of experience in patient recruitment and retention, preferably within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry.Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.Working understanding of health literacy best practices and ability to transform complex clinical information into patient friendly contentProven track record in designing and implementing successful recruitment strategies and campaigns in immunology and inflammation indications.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Experience managing and leading vendor partnerships.Passionate about patients and enhancing patient engagement in clinical research.Skills and experience not an exact match? :
