The Role
As a Director, Global Sourcing, you will be responsible for Strategic Sourcing, Facilities Site Data Centre, Colocation Services (white space, gray space, cleaning, colocation, Office), and Security Site Services, with a heavy focus on Data Centre Colocation Services and will take charge of acquiring goods, services, and intellectual property assets that propel Kyndryl forward.
In this role, you'll be more than just a negotiator – you'll be a strategic partner, collaborating with internal and external customers to understand their needs and craft tailored solutions. Your eye for detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that every contract negotiation not only meets but exceeds expectations.
This role heavily emphasizes procurement knowledge and expertise in spend that supports our data centers and offices. Having extensive knowledge in colocation service agreements, facilities management, and more.
As a Procurement Sourcing professional, you'll navigate the landscape of supplier selection and evaluation, conducting thorough value analyses while ensuring that customer specifications are met. You'll be crucial in onboarding new suppliers, handling all documentation and maintenance requests with precision and efficiency.
Additionally, you'll be the face of our department, representing Kyndryl in engagement opportunities and fostering strong, lasting relationships with key suppliers. Your ability to adapt to changing market conditions and anticipate future needs will set us apart from the competition. With your expertise, inquiries from customers and suppliers will be met with confidence and clarity, ensuring a smooth and transparent procurement process every step of the way. Your dedication to maintaining audit trails and identifying savings opportunities will ensure that we're always operating at peak efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $150,720 to $286,200 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $165,720 to $343,560
Colorado: $150,720 to $286,200
New York City: $180,720 to $343,560
Washington: $165,720 to $314,880
Washington DC: $165,720 to $314,880
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Procurement, with a strong background in facilities procurement.
- This role requires a extensive knowledge of colocation contract agreements, specifically drafting contract language.
- Previous experience with developing, managing RFxes (tenders/requests for purchase) including facilitating response analysis and assessments.
- Proven experience in negotiating contract terms with suppliers, especially for facilities management services (white space, gray space, cleaning, colocation, security services, etc).
- Strong experience in managing procurement processes for Colocation Services, working with data center providers, and building colocation strategic supplier relationships.
- Strong track record in evaluating suppliers for value and compliance, with an emphasis on facilities management and colocation contracts.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Previous professional experience in facilities, procurement and/or sales role.
- Procurement experience in commercial solutions, including services related to infrastructure management (e.g., data centers, colocation services).
- Familiarity with colocation contracts, including experience with negotiating terms for data center services.
