Solon area-based, Actuation Products manufacturer has an immediate opening for a Product Support, Designer / Test Technician to support engineering and assist with testing on the Kyntronics unique SMART Hydraulic Products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Kyntronics SMART Electro-Hydraulic Actuator combines the Benefits of Both Electro-Mechanical Actuators (EMA) and Traditional Hydraulics while eliminating their shortcomings. Resulting in an actuation solution with superior functionality at a lower price point.

Solon area-based, Actuation Products manufacturer has an immediate opening for a Product Support, Designer / Test Technician to support engineering and assist with testing on the Kyntronics unique SMART Hydraulic Products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn and become proficient with Kyntronics products.
- Support Kyntronics product lines including troubleshooting, both pre and post shipment – most support is via calls, some field support may be required.
- Assist with customer models & supporting engineering using SolidWorks.
- Conduct final testing and commissioning of Kyntronics products prior to shipment including ATP results and other documentation.
- Develop and implement ATPs.
- Provide critical technical information to Engineering for product improvement.
- Assist with Engineering test plans and implementation.
- Other duties as applicable.
- Ability to problem solve with root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with data acquisition and analysis.
- Hard-working, hands-on, with a strong sense of urgency… “get the job done” approach.
- Respect for others, high integrity.
- Excellent computer skills and highly proficient using Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communications and inter-personal skills.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent applicable experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience testing / supporting similar products.
- SolidWorks Experience is a positive.
- Strong technical skills. Able to easily grasp product capabilities and effectively communicate technical concepts.
- Familiarity with actuation.
- Experience with Motion Control products and/or Hydraulic Systems and markets are highly preferred.
- Strong professional references.
