Summer Full Time Barista

Job description

We are seeking full time skilled and friendly individual to join our team as a Barista/Cashier. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and serving a variety of Japanese desserts, beverages, and assisting customers with their orders. Additionally, you will handle cash transactions and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of Japanese desserts and beverages

- Greet customers, take their orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and provide accurate change to customers

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the preparation and serving stations - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

- Assist with restocking ingredients, supplies, and utensils as needed

- Uphold a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and team members

• Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a café or dessert shop setting

- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and patience

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Basic math skills for cash handling

- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
