What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Corporate EHSS - Environmental Programs position at KYOCERA AVX Components Corporation?
Along with the Corporate EHSS team, the Corporate EHSS Manager (Environmental Programs) will help to direct, develop, and coordinate KAVX's global environmental, health, safety & security policies, initiatives, and activities. This role will lead managing global environmental programs and environmental protection activities.

Sr. Director, Corporate Human Resources
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Oversee global environmental assessment work, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and Remediation, remedial design plans, remedial implementation, regulatory closure, and other environmental services.
- Retain and oversee external consultants on all appropriate aspects of projects.
- Track project schedule and deliverables, prepare reports, monitor project budgets, and update management with limited supervision.
- Handle administrative tasks and demonstrate efficient project management skills.
- Support implementation and maintenance of key environmental management systems like ISO 14001 EMS and ISO 50001 EM.
- Assist with the development and implementation of strategic plans and establish goals to improve overall environmental programs and performance.
- Manage the data collection efforts for global and plant level environmental information and initiatives, including energy usage, GHGs, waste, water, and recycling.
- Spread awareness of environmental and safety management rules and standards throughout KAVX and promote continuous improvement.
- Communicate with all levels of the organization, customers, legal counsel, local community leaders, regulators, and contractors as needed relating to environment programs and initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as required.
