What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMAP Operator 2nd shift position at KYOCERA AVX Greenville LLC?
Primary Function:
Responsible for performing production work in manufacturing. Starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines. Assembles and packages finished product. Inspects product to ensure high quality standards. You would usually work as part of a team under the supervision of a shift leader.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:- Set up and Operate complex production line equipment per procedure.
- Follow tight tolerance and detailed equipment set up procedures.
- Work and follow procedures in a cleanroom environment.
- Respond to and trouble-shoot basic machine errors and process non-conformities.
- Report moderate and complex equipment faults to maintenance staff or supervisor.
- Report moderate and complex process non-conformities to technician or engineer.
- Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
- Clean and maintain work areas and machinery in an orderly fashion.
- Other tasks as assigned
- Excellent computer skills
- Good math skills
- Willing and able to work with chemicals
- Ability to stand the whole shift.
- Willing and able to lift 30 lbs. and push heavy carts.
- Ability to learn new job functions as needed.
- Ability to multi-task and monitor multiple stations at one time.
- Ability to train other operators in all aspects of the department.
- Ability to follow instructions and lead area employees with little supervision.
- Ability to follow all safety and environmental standards for the department.
- High School diploma minimum
- Experience as a machine operator
Salary : $30,800 - $39,000
