Primary Function
This position is responsible for working with the Desktop Services Department to support all staff members in troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving issues with PC and laptop configurations, network connectivity, and printers.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide excellent IT Desktop Service to local and remote employees by promptly responding and troubleshooting user IT requests.
- Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, multifunctional devices, hardware and software for employees. Provide new hires with basic introduction of hardware, software, and network resources.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues and follow-up until they are solved.
- Manage site company’s IT assets and assist with hardware and software procurement.
- Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on desktops, laptops, multifunctional devices.
- Monitor the availability of IT systems through existing portals and log/resolve/escalate issues.
- Follow IT standards, processes and policies.
- Provide occasional services for Network, Server and Security groups.
- High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or industry certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Management and process execution
- Accuracy with work, strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Understanding of IT Helpdesk with strong emphasis in customer service.
- Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues
- Windows 7-11, Microsoft Active Directory, MS Office 365, Enterprise anti-virus solutions and PC hardware installation and troubleshooting
- Experience with tools for User management, software deployment, Operating System deployment
- Basic network, firewall and server knowledge
- Enterprise level IT backup and restore experience
