Performs complex activities for the development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods. Lead a cross-functional engineering team responsible for the fabrication of parts; this may include finishing and final testing. Prepare and maintain timelines and project schedules. Mentor and supervise the work of other engineers.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provides technical guidance and liaison to operations, assists the supervision on new manufacturing techniques. May include the determination and cause of rejected parts and their disposition.
- Interfaces with customers in supporting the design and development of new products
- Process ownership: demonstrated leadership in the assigned group of processes
- Manage schedule, budget and spec on major engineering projects
- Support the development of engineers including off-site locations
- Work in a team environment
- Provide relevant information regarding, progress of engineering tests
- Prepare and submit reports on the progress and status of engineering projects
- Follow all safety guidelines
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required (Materials, Ceramics, Chemical or similar) and 8 years of related experience or MS/PhD and 6 years of related experience
- Prefer 3 or more years of staff or project management
- Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices
- Ability to effectively delegate while maintaining forward motion on key deliverables
- Strong mentoring, training and coaching to junior engineers
- Capable of managing multiple projects and work centers. Prioritize activities simultaneously in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated skills in technical writing. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to management and technical staff audiences
- Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts to determine critical parameters and develop process controls.

Salary : $119,000 - $150,000
