As the Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of actionable financial reporting and analysis for the Company. In this role, you will be interacting with Senior Management on a regular basis to provide analysis along with recommendations on how to operate the business more efficiently. You will also be a liaison between Finance and IT with respect to maintenance of the financial software and key reports.

Responsibilities
Support design and development of Business Intelligence tools, Key Performance Indicators, and dashboards. Build user requirements when applicable for the development of new reports. Ensure reconciliation of related systems and follow up and investigate where necessary. Assist in preparation of the annual budgeting process. Able to communicate broadly to help ensure overall coordination for cross-functional teams. Understand drivers for profitability and cost performance for business operations. Identify risks and opportunities. Assist in preparation of Month-End reporting package. Assist in the monthly planning process. Assist in providing transparency through all levels of a multi-segment, multi-location organization. Assist with Mergers and Acquisitions to ensure proper integration of structure and financial reports. Support variance analysis of actual financial results to previous forecasts, budgets, and prior periods. Assist with financial modeling used in annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning. Assist in proactive research and analysis and propose financial/business models to positively impact trends and business performance. Identify cost saving and/or revenue enhancement opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders. Ad hoc reporting as needed. Adhere to laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. 5-7 years’ experience having worked in both accounting and financial planning environments. Experience working and administrating Oracle, Hyperion, Tableau, Essbase or other BI tools. Advanced Excel skills required, including lookups, pivot tables and graphs. Good understanding of accounting concepts and the working of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements. Strong strategic analytical skills, detail oriented and accurate Strong comprehension skills for understanding needs and concerns and developing and applying solutions. Must be proficient in managing, importing, and exporting large amounts of data. Strong interpersonal skills. Analytical orientation with strong ability to develop and use metrics to drive performance. Natural curiosity and ability to synthesize data to draw insights. Adaptable to a changing environment and ability to multitask. A sense of urgency Ability to handle hard deadlines and willing to work additional hours when necessary. Highly motivated Strong teamwork orientation and flexibility to adapt to frequent organization changes. Ability to travel if necessary.Preferred: Advanced degree is desirable.
