We are looking for Industrial Mechanics on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift for our manufacturing plant in Cincinnati, OH.

Industrial Mechanic Basic Function
Under the supervision of the department manager and the training Master Mechanic, set up machines working to extremely close tolerances. Inspect the first run pieces and return the press to the production operator. Requires up to 6 months – a year of training to perform all set-ups and become familiar with the functioning of presses. Must show good communication and a strong ability to learn quickly.
Shift/Schedule: 40 hours per week ( OT when available).
1st Shift: Monday - Thursday; 6am - 4pm OR Monday - Friday; 8am - 4pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday; 4pm - 2am OR Monday - Friday; 4pm - 12am
3rd Shift: Monday - Friday; 12am - 8am
Pay
Pay range starts at $19/hour for Mechanic I and grows as your career at SENCO grows into the role of a SENCO Master Mechanic.

Pay
Pay range starts at $19/hour for Mechanic I and grows as your career at SENCO grows into the role of a SENCO Master Mechanic.
- 2nd and 3rd Shift receives an additional $1.50/HR shift differential.
- Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, mechanical drawings, and machine manuals.
- Gain on-the-job experience by working with experienced Master Mechanics to learn how to maintain and repair production equipment properly.
- Perform troubleshooting diagnostics on assigned areas machines and auto-pack units.
- Continuously holds themselves to high expectations, tries to minimize downtown, and assists in controlling production rates, scrap rates, and product quality.
- Is a mentor/teacher to other machine mechanics and provides technical knowledge and guidance to other machine mechanics.
- Trains new machine mechanics while keeping up with assigned AMM duties.
- Has the capacity to be an “area expert” on multiple machines.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
- High School Degree/GED is preferred.
- Has advanced mechanical skills and can troubleshoot machines.
- Has above-average knowledge of SENCO machines and processes.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Follows the direction of Master Mechanics and the Team lead
- 100 % of the time, must be able to bend, carry, lift, push, pull, reach, stand for prolonged periods of time, walk, and lift /- 75 lbs.
- Must be able to walk throughout Senco’s manufacturing campus, up to 530,000 square feet.
- Must be able to work off shifts and/or overtime when assigned, sometimes on short notice.
- Must follow the Lockout/Tagout practice up to Senco’s Safety policy when on the floor and working on machines.
- Must be able to read and write proficiently.
- Upon company discretion, must be able to obtain a material handling (forklift) certification.
- Must provide own set of standard hand tools.
- 100% of the time, work with various machines, hand tools, and equipment.
- Must be comfortable working in an environment where there is possible exposure to lost-time accidents, including but not limited to the hands, arms, feet, or back.
- Must be able to withstand continuous exposure to disagreeable noise, dirt, and fumes within the OSHA allowance.
