Kyrus is actively seeking candidates to provide critical support for a variety of IC, DoD, and DoJ customers. The Vulnerability Researcher reverse engineers code for vulnerabilities and then writes code for a variety of platforms such as the Linux kernel, Windows kernel, and embedded operating systems. Our engineers also perform reverse engineering tasks using IDA Pro and Ghidra to identify bugs in compiled software. This role requires you to be a U.S. citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance. Location : Sterling, Va. in office with the possibility of hybrid.
Responsibilities include :
- Identifying vulnerabilities through reverse engineering of compiled code that runs on a variety of computing platforms
- Developing C / C code in the kernel and userland on Linux, Windows, and embedded operating systems
- Developing Python code for server applications and processing of binary data streams
- Reverse engineering compiled code with IDA Pro, Ghidra, and radare2
- Reverse engineering embedded system hardware including black box analysis, firmware extraction, and debugging using GDB, JTAG, and other equivalent tools
- Implementing automation for testing our tools, fuzzing, and using machine learning for reverse engineering Technologies :
