Summary:
Safely and efficiently operate sheet metal equipment, either a cell of equipment, FMS or AFS as assigned. Must read and interpret instructions and diagrams, effectively apply math skills, experience, training, and communication skills to monitor, control, and manage tooling and product.
Duties:
* Operate a turret/brake/ or similar machine to bend, fold, stamp sheet metal parts for refrigeration cases
* Make control adjustments to keep part production accurate and within time standards
* Use tape measures, blueprints and/or shop orders to accurately make parts for the production departments to minimize past due orders, maximize the availability of scheduled and expedited parts
