KYU is seeking energetic and detail-oriented Bussers/Runners to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the front-of-house operations by ensuring that tables are promptly cleared and set for new guests, and by delivering food and beverages efficiently. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables after guests leave, including removing used dishes, utensils, and glassware.
- Set up tables with clean linens, utensils, and glassware for new guests.
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely manner.
- Refill water glasses and assist with any special requests from guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the dining area and service stations.
- Assist with restocking supplies and managing inventory of dining essentials.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle any guest requests or issues promptly and professionally.
- Support the team during busy periods by helping with additional tasks as needed.
- Ensure that all health and safety standards are followed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including trays and food.
