KYU is looking for a reliable and dedicated Porter to join our team. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, supporting both the front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling various tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant, including the dining area, restrooms, kitchen, and service areas.
- Handle trash and waste management, ensuring proper disposal and recycling practices.
- Assist in organizing and restocking supplies as needed.
- Support the kitchen and service staff by performing tasks such as delivering supplies and cleaning dishes.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ensure that all cleaning and sanitation procedures are followed according to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the restaurant for service.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
- Respond to any cleaning requests from the management or staff promptly.
