We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in managing the flow of guests, coordinating seating arrangements, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host station and dining area.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for managing reservations and guest interactions.
- Support wait staff during busy periods by helping with drink orders or clearing tables as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, particularly Aloha POS, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- A passion for customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests is essential.
