Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in records management, legal drafting, and compliance management.
Responsibilities
· Requisition processing of Purchase Order (PO)/PO creation, including a solid understanding of any auditable documentation needed for PO.
· Process new suppliers through the Ariba and DSP systems.
· Recognize and resolve vendor management issues to maintain system integrity (e.g., wrong supplier chosen by requisitioned).
· Comprehending fundamental contract content and purpose to verify that the requisition was created properly and independently make the decision to reject or approve.
· Independently Approve POs for service agreements within delegated limits.
· Assist with the resolution of higher dollar agreements that have compliance issues.
· Primary interface with shopping cart requisitioned and PO approvers to identify and/or troubleshoot requisition issues (vendor issues, documentation issues, compliance issues).
· Process Purchase Order Change Notice requests according to guidelines established.
· Demonstrate operational expertise with contract workflow management system and PO system.
· Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding transactions status and/or guidance on how to proceed with specific transactions to completion.
· Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED is required.
· Must have 2 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical industry with an emphasis on the business (i.e., contracting, outsourcing, finance) or related field.
· Strong experience in SAP, contract management database, and vendor management program.
· Must be able to work with multiple complex computer programs to complete the contract execution process within departmental timelines and within auditable standards.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with highly demonstrated quality customer service.
· Self-motivated and capable of working well within a team-oriented environment.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change in a positive manner.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
