Janitor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Maintain and clean restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Handle floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing
• Assist with residential painting tasks as needed
• Conduct commercial cleaning tasks in office buildings or other facilities
• Support facilities maintenance by performing custodial duties
• Execute industrial cleaning activities to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
• Serve as a porter for the organization by ensuring spaces are clean and presentable

Experience

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques and equipment
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
