Research Scientist - Thermal

Job Responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute research investigations using experimental and numerical techniques to improve thermal performance of power electronics device and package.
2. Perform device and system level thermo-fluid simulations to gain understanding of the performance and trade-offs.
3. Porous material design and potential fabrication for thermal management solutions including vapor chambers and two-phase cold plates.
4. Document learnings in internal reports and external publications to disseminate knowledge.
5. Generate innovative ideas, new project concepts, and demonstrate innovative thinking to solve technical problems.
6. Generate and capture novel intellectual property in patents.

Requirements:

1. PhD in Mechanical Engineering
2. Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, and simulation software such as ANSYS and COMSOL.
3. Excellent ability to analyze and interpret experimental data.
4. Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
5. Excellent oral and written English language skills
