What are the responsibilities and job description for the Valet/Car Detailer position at Kyyba Inc?
Qualifications:• High School Diploma or equivalent. • Basic automotive knowledge, valid Driver’s License for any US State. • This position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lb., driving, pulling, kneeling, reaching, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, squatting, hearing, reading, writing, and exposure to variations in temperature and high noise.
Responsibilities:1. Driving the flow of vehicles through the VDC processes 2. Operating carwash 3. Operating Fuel Pumps 4. First Point of Rest –FPOR- Battery Voltage Check 5. Assist in Basic Facility maintenance as needed 6. Cross training of increased skill levels in VDC IT systems as necessary 7. Vehicle operation in a controlled yard environment 8. Manual Transmission Operation Oxnard does drive within the Port grounds, AND, on about 2 miles of city street, then within the VDC grounds. Oxnard prefers people being able to drive a stick/manual. It’s not a deal-breaker anymore since fewer cars are manuals these days. There is the occasional manual, and a little more often with the Minis. In practice, if someone doesn’t prefer to handle the manual, we can accommodate/we have others who can. Training on-site is not a preferred option as it is rare to have a demo type manual/stick car for a period of time to do so.

Pay: $21.31 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
