Responsibilities:
- Work with Union Mechanics/Technicians and other proving ground personnel.
- Vehicle pre-test configuration.
- Create NVH pass-by test project.
- Verify vehicle configuration.
- Update vehicle calibrations as required.
- Conduct vehicle pass-by testing.
- Interpret test specifications.
- Confirm instrumentation setup.
- Verify site setup.
- Analyze data according to test specifications.
- Create test reports.
- Support process improvement actions to enhance operational and economic efficiencies.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or related engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university.
- 2 years of related experience (testing and NVH experience preferred).
- Fundamental understanding of overall vehicle functionality.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools.
Preferred Requirements:
- Demonstrated capability in effectively using NVH measurement tools, e.g., LMS Testlab, Matlab, Head Acoustics Artemis.
- Prior experience in product management, homologation, regulations, and/or NVH within an automotive company.
- Proven ability to solve technical problems.
- Testing and NVH experience.
Salary : $30 - $35
