Position Overview : Our Senior CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist will set up
and operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts per work
order / drawing requirements in a safety-conscious and quality-focused manner. The role is
accountable to load parts in the machine, cycle the machine and detect malfunctions in
machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
Requirements : Job Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of experience with setting up and operating CNC Mill or CNC Lathe
- machines
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skill
- Ability to read blueprints and has knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to do First Article Inspections
- Ability to maintain close tolerances up to 0.0001 of an inch
- Familiar with Fanuc Controls and Mazak Controls
- Familiar with Doosan, Mazak, Nakamura, Allan Bradley (Lathe)
- Familiar with Mitsui-Seiki, Yasda, Fadal, Haas, Matsura (Mill)
- Ability to use and machine shop tools EX : micrometers, calipers, indicators
- Must have ability to apply basic math skills required
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. required
- Knowledge of Aerospace standards (ex. AS9100, ISO9001) preferred
