Job Title: Retail Loader
Department: Prunedale Farm & Supply
Reports to: Tina Chambers – Retail Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Payscale: $16.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
This position is Part-Time: Friday, Saturday and Sunday only.
Job Summary:
The Retail Loader ensures that products and materials are stocked and organized. The Retail Loader also loads products and orders to customers’ vehicles.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Package, crate and load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loading.
• Package parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, cover or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment.
• Responsible for all lifts and checking loads for accuracy and completion.
• Loading and offloading flatbed trucks as needed.
• Forklift usage to load and unload.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• May occasionally assist with delivering products and orders to customers.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma desired.
• Previous forklift experience preferred, but not required. Training provided.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 100lbs.
• Outside weather conditions.
• Ability to adhere to all Company Safety initiatives and requirements.
