Job Summary
Assisting the PD team to develop seasonal collections from design handoff to pre-production handoff. Daily communication with vendors tracking sample status from proto to SMS.
Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow up and track all protos styles status with vendors and update WIP / PLM accordingly
- Follow critical development dates for approvals and sample delivery
- Create cut tickets for in-house development
- Work with sample room on seasonal fabric inventory
- Monitor internal sample room flow to make sure samples are meeting required deadlines; communicate priorities
- Manage sample alterations during line edit
- Issue Sample PO’s to vendors and send revisions as needed
- Order seasonal photosamples as required
- Receive and organize SMS
- Maintain sample closet / archive
- Work cross-functionally with departments on sample requirements
- Distribute and ship SMS to domestic and international showrooms- organizing and generating packing lists
- Organize, pack and ship all samples at end of the season to our warehouse
