The TD assistant supports the technical design process from development through production and ensures the consistency of fit, construction and quality in the assigned product categories. They are responsible for the daily sample logging, measuring, and organizing. The assistant also provides administrative support to the Technical Design Team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for fit, construction, quality, and consistency of assigned product category from development to production, including :
- Will support the team with measuring and sending of PP / TOP comments for some Essential categories, mainly blouses and dresses, with the support of each tech designer.
- Reviewing apparel construction and quality standards of samples when prepping for fit
- Reviewing grade and tolerance standards, when prepping fit comments
- Will organize all incoming and outgoing proto and production fit samples – distributing fit samples to each tech designer, preparing samples by vendor for outgoing packages.
- Adhere to the department standards and best practices for product fit and process compliance.
- Provides daily support for the technical team as needed.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
