Job Summary
The Wholesale Planner will be responsible for facilitating business growth for the Wholesale Division (focusing largely on Department stores) through analysis of merchandising selling, OTB, monthly sales forecasts, sales / stock, & profitability.
Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with Senior Director of Merchandise Planning to develop top-down financial plans & strategies by account – owning sales, margin & inventory planning
- Work in partnership with Account Executive to help develop overall account strategy – category plans, stock / sales plans, door plans
- Work in partnership with Senior Director of Merchandise Planning and Account Executive to build retailer plans to support sales & inventory projections that align with overall company objectives
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to provide detailed overview of business performance by account
- both top line as well as store-level
- Manage in-season account stock and sales plans by reviewing previous month actuals, re-projecting plan, and conducting analyses on inventory / sales
- Identify opportunities based on analytics; collaborate with cross functional teams to develop action plans
- Project & monitor monthly replenishment program by SKU
